Ever at the ready to challenge the prudish, prurient, wowser types and their notions that nudity is inherently associated with sexuality and is to be abhorred in all situations except, or even including, the marital boudoir, Smith’s presents Unclothed People Doing Things.

Our MC, the very tall and charming Michael Fairlamb, will guide us through the following unclothed entertainments:

Ivy Ambrosia: Another showgirl with a ukulele. Usually found either taking her clothes off or swinging on the end of mic lead as a burlesque performer/MC. For UPDT, Ivy will be following the dictum of Amanda Palmer by playing her ukulele and/or autoharp naked.

Jarrah Hoey. You may recognise him as a Smith’s regular, oft with pad and pen, sketching the performers and/or audience members, clothed or not clothed, whether they be unclothed or, actually, clothed. He has also been a busking trombonist around town. He’s appeared at numerous Unclothed’s and once again he’ll be playing the trombone, ‘boning’ as it were. He’ll also perform the Unclothed Finale, delivering a rap postscript to a Cuddlefish song titled “There is Nothing Finer Than a Hairy Vagina”.

Cuddlefish are shy creatures with flesh that can change colour to express their emotions. They’re rarely seen in public, mostly preferring to share their incendiary gifts amongst fellow fiends in debaucherous after-parties or random moments of leisure time. Catch them this one night, fully exposed, their tendrils quivering, with nothing between them and you but the water we breathe.

Svelt, Moxie & Peaches. Enjoy the enigmatic woodwind electro soundscape of Svelt & Moxie, accompanied by Peaches' diaphonous interpolative dance.

Lumiel radiates peaceful and joyous lightbeams and exists outside the normal space time continuum. For this Unclothed show, they will be shining their light into the dark recesses of our souls.

Josie dances at the drop of a hat to pretty much any type of music, interpretively, intuitively, fluidly. Betraying a classical training, her movement is both tightly controlled and as free as the proverbial.  

Fi Bonacci, maths enthusiast and fan of removing her clothes, will be regaling the audience with her first attempt at erotic literature.

Kitty White has appeared in nearly every Unclothed show and is really the heart and soul of our little show. For this Unclothed she will be giving lessons in fan dancing to members of the audience, should they be so brave as to join her on the stage.

Lea is a rough self taught muso, a scientist, an artist, and a random oddball. Talents include piano banging, ukulele slaying, kazoo noodling, painful punk singing, burlesque, cabaret, drag, and general tomfoolery. For Unclothed, she'll bring a mix of original piano songs, and some parody ukelele & kazoo covers - as well as some skin never before seen in public. And maybe a neat hat.

Lily Dubois will be connecting her adventures with Wrath and Lust to the Sociology of Emotions. She has spent July exploring Wrath and August exploring Lust by posting once a day on social media on the subject. For Unclothed, she will reveal in detail the results of her experiment.

Andrew Yallop is a tall dark stranger who writes and recites tall dark and strange poems.
