We're used to the ground beneath our feet being pretty steady. Every morning we get up and - unless there's an earthquake - it's pretty much where we left it. But we know that everything under us is moving. Slowly, slowly moving. Australia for example is packing up and heading north at 5cm a year. But this idea - that our ground is moving and that the earth used to look radically different - took a lot of work to get off the ground. We explore that story.
