‘The Adventures of Wonderchild & Little Seal’ (TAWLS) is a chronicle of the musical escapades of Anna-Kat (Wonderchild) and Ronan Chapple (Little Seal). Their worlds' first collided whilst studying Jazz at the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts. No fairytale beginnings for these two who are now a Whinnie to the others' Pooh. It took five years of making music together before they joined forces & TAWLS was born. Their first single which they recorded in bedrooms from Perth, WA to Mittagong, NSW was discovered by Spotify NY on Soundcloud & included on the revered New Indie Mix Playlist.  Less than six months after their first release, their single has brought them international opportunities performing in Berlin, London & a second Australian tour.

Tawls have profound personal attachment to their Capital. They will never miss a chance to play there & are delighted to be performing at Canberra's cosiest live music venue Smith's Alternative. 

Michael Misa is a singer-songwriter from Canberra, Australia. He started playing guitar as a boy on a cheap Valencia classical and developed a finger-style technique over 8 years before finally getting hold of a decent instrument. These early beginnings playing nylon influenced the intricacies of his later music. Within the space of a short couple of years performing he was already sharing the stage with national touring artists, busking and playing in bars internationally, his music shortlisted in various contests (most recently by the Australian Songwriters Association) and at home has played by invitation at many venues like the National Film and Sound Archive, National Museum of Australia, etc. He is currently working on recording a debut album.
