The name Charlie Owen has become synonymous with excellence in the Australian music scene. With a career spanning multiple decades, his talent and passion for the guitar have left a lasting impression on audiences across the nation.

From his influential work with Tex Don and Charlie, Beasts of Bourbon, The New Christs to his collaborations with Louis Tillett, Paul Kelly, Tendrils and Working Class Ringos. Charlie Owen has consistently pushed the boundaries of his craft whilst captivating audiences with his ferocious yet tender performances.

He’ll be bringing his Searching for Charlie Owen music and spoken word show back to Smith’s Alternative on Saturday August 17, supported by Cam Butler (ex-Ron S Peno and the Superstitions).

Charlie’s ability to effortlessly blend different genres and styles is a testament to his versatility as a musician. Whether it's the raw energy of Beasts of Bourbon or the introspective melodies of Tex Don & Charlie, Charlie's musicality knows no bounds.

Following the success of sold-out shows in Brisbane, Sydney and Canberra last year, we’re thrilled to announce that Charlie will be playing and extended run of East Coast dates, as again, we go Searching for Charlie Owen.

Proudly presented by SoundPressing, I-94Bar.com and Rhythms Magazine.
