Relays
Since forming in late 2023, Australian Autistic Punk band, Relays, has released a series of independent, non-politically correct singles that have collectively amassed over 30,000 plays on Spotify, making them a rising name in the Aussie underground punk scene.
The band's growing buzz can be attributed to their blistering live shows, characterized by an element of unpredictability thanks to autistic frontman and guitarist Shann Lions, along with the rhythmic consistency of lead drummer Mik Weird and the youthful energy of bassist El Wellard. Relays' debut self-titled album was released independently on October 2, just in time for their performance at the Chopped Festival (October 4-6), where they shared the stage with acts like Cosmic Psychos and A. Swayze & The Ghosts.
Relays have a 23 date East Coast Australian tour from November 2024 till February 2025. Relays are an 100% DIY band so and this tour is not something you want to miss, unless you have gastro then stay home.
‘ALL HOPE REMAINS' - If A Wilhelm Scream was a straight up melodic skate punk band, I would think they’d sound a lot like All Hope Remains. There’s plenty of melody, gang vocals, and heart to go along for everyone. Musically, All Hope Remains belongs in the same conversation with the best Epitaph bands. They’re that good.
