This duet comprises lavta (Istanbul lute, πολίτικο λαούτο) and qanun (zither, κανονάκι) virtuosos Nikos Papageorgiou and Asineth Fotini Kokkala. They are world-class Greek musicians living in Istanbul. They are inspired by the traditional music of Greece and Turkey, as well as contemporary compositions written especially for them.

NikoTeini, a living testament to a shared cultural heritage. These virtuosos draw on the exquisite traditions of the Eastern Mediterranean, expanding their repertoire through collaborations with modern luminaries like Antonis Apergis, Apostolos Sideris, Ä°smail Ä°lgün, Alexia Mouza, Efren Lopez, and more.
