Mixtape Chorus is Canberra’s own indie-pop choir for anyone and everyone who loves to sing. Priding itself on being an ‘improper’ choir, Mixtape Chorus is all about creating community and sharing a love of music. Mixtape’s repertoire is diverse and always exciting – including bangers from Vera Blue, Gordi, San Cisco, Ball Park Music and Architecture in Helsinki (just to name a few!). In the three years since its establishment, Mixtape Chorus has grown to become a much-loved part of the Canberra music community – with performances at many local events such as Autumn Revel, You Are Here Festival and Art, Not Apart and the Reclink Community Cup.

This term, Mixtape has been busy learning some new arrangements – all celebrating Aussie female artists – and they are ready to share them! Mixtape will be popping-up at Smith’s on Saturday 7 July from 3pm-5pm to sing a few songs, and share a few drinks and laughs with family, friends, and anyone who loves a good singalong! Gold coin donations welcome in support of Reclink.
