Prepare for Saturday's march with our sign making workshops, because despite what some of the world's politicians think, science matters.

You can help make the March for Science better by coming to Smith’s and making some signs/banners for the march.

The March for Science is a global celebration of public discovery, distribution and understanding of scientific knowledge as crucial to the freedom, success, health and safety of life on this planet. We are a nonpartisan group, marching to demand action in the following areas: Policy, Communication, Funding and Literacy.

On April 14, marches are taking place in cities all around the world. The events aspire to be positive in their messages about the role that science plays in supporting society and addressing some of the biggest, complex problems that we face now and into the future. This is an inclusive event that celebrates diversity and seeks to bring together all of those in our community who care about science, not just scientists.
