This exhibition celebrates the practice of en plein air creating. Connecting and responding to the wild with soft pastels. Caroline sees nature as a place of healing and a source to refill the spirit, and her work captures the flow of water as a life-giving resource and the way its abundance or absences creates beautiful divergent landscapes.

Caroline Reid is a contemporary landscape artist who lives and works in Canberra, on Ngunnawal country, Australia - a rugged semi-alpine area hemmed in by mountain ranges to the west and east, and the Snowy Mountains to the south. Training under master pastelliste Marla Baggetta, Caroline Reid has developed her practice through countless hours at independent art workshops and at the easel.
