THREE GREAT CANBERRA BANDS

Liberty Belle is a Canberra-based, three-piece delivering a genre-bending mix of alt-country, post-punk, blues, neo-gospel and folk-infused storytelling. The band’s sound is intense, visceral, but also introspective - blending razor-sharp overtones, gritty blues, and hauntingly sweet, poetic melodies.

Canberra singer songwriters Jacquie Reid and Jude Blacklock are The Third Act. Following their successful debut at Smith’s supporting The Loveys early this year, Jac and Jude return with a new repertoire of original songs, featuring vibrant, often delicate harmonies and upbeat, thoughtful lyrics. Poetry in Motion are Paul and Kate who adapt classic and modern poems into soulful alt-folk songs which they craft into atmospheric sets with their original songs about landscapes and the people who inhabit them.
