KID OF HARITH plays 'SICK JOKE' with guests OKINAWA GIRLS (acoustic)

After an abrupt end to 2017, Kid of Harith returns to the stage for the first time since brain surgery and treatment for cancer. After some serious rehab that involved relearning the guitar from scratch he is now ready to perform what will become the next Kid of Harith album, Sick Joke. Composed partly before and partly after diagnosis Sick Joke is an honest, unabridged and raw document of life among death. Kid of Harith writes songs about fear, family and fragility.

Having tormented Canberran audiences with their undeniable blend of bearable and unbearable noise rock, Okinawa Girls will be dusting off their acoustic guitars and playing some quieter numbers as an opener. Expect a good handful of covers paying tribute to a few CBR musos, as well as the Girls' hits transformed into brooding countrified psychodramas.
