GG grew up in North East Victoria between the fringes of a national park, a circus school and the Australian folk festival circuit. Based in Berlin for the last two years, GG returns to Australia in the summer of 2017 to release and tour her debut EP, Show Me. Accompanying GG on the tour is Berliner local and Deutsch-rock superstar Philipp Malong.

GG’s music mixes high-energy guitar with themes of loneliness and distance with tongue-in-cheek playfulness and determination. These are songs crafted in the space between people - metaphorical and geographical. Lyrics are written after midnight and music follows in the morning. Misunderstandings, miscommunications, misdirection, missing love. GG studies these experiences and uses them as energy snacks to make her dance harder.
