"Greater Zetland“ will feature:

John Harkins – piano/leader
Andrew Dickeson – Drums
Jacob Graham – Bass
Aidan Wong- Tenor Saxophone

This new ensemble features two young excellent players from a very thriving Sydney Jazz scene. Aidan Wong is making a big noise all over Australia. At just 19yrs old, Wong is playing and growing at an impressive pace. He has all the gifts for a potentially great jazz career.

Bassist Jacob Graham has paid some real dues since coming on the scene 10yrs ago. The math puts him at 24yrs old. He's become the first call Bass player in Sydney, playing regularly with Aaron Blakey, Michael Griffin, George Greenhill, Ben Lerner, George Washingmachine, Arty Washington, Tim Firth and  Andrew Dickeson.

There will be no ground breaking concepts or clever meter changes on the night at Smiths .  You will most likely not be confused as to what you hear and feel. But there will be unrelenting, non apologetic jazz, played with the intent of swinging hard.

What's not to like?

John Harkins and cohort Andrew Dickeson have a proven track record of delivering jazz to Australian audiences at the highest level for almost 30yrs.
