An occasion for spontaneity and frivolity, the Freeee Floral Frock Fringe Festival began with GravyTRAM (Melody Bear & R.G.M.) busking on the fringe of Floriade in 1997, a time when the Commonwealth Park site was fenced, and an entry fee charged. Frock-Fest soon morphed into a concert and art show. Just after the turn of the millenium it was held at the Canberra Park Woolshed for a couple of years, then at Rockape, and after at various friends’ homes and music venues (Pot Belly, Magpies Underground, Smith’s Alternative).

GravyTRAM Music with Fun & Glam & Friends give you Canberra's deepest underground sensation, second smallest fringe festival in the Southern Hemisphere, Canberra's longest and most esoteric running joke for and by the neurodivergent.
