Elegy for Emily: A Verse Biography of Emily Remler (1957-1990) is the latest published work by Geoff Page telling in verse, the life of Emily Remler, the pioneering American female guitarist who flourished in the 1980s and died in Australia in circumstances which are still disputed. The book will be launched by Gary France (who once played with her).

A jazz/poetry collaborative event featuring readings from the book by Geoff and performances by two of Canberra’s premiere jazz guitarists, Jess Green and Lachlan Coventry, both solo and as a duo, playing some of Emily Remler’s compositions and favourite tunes.

Free admission. Nibbles provided. Full bar/cafe available. Copies of the book available at special launch price of $20.
