A showcase of hammered dulcimer music from four of Canberra’s finest folk ensembles. The concert is part of a weekend long festival at Smith’s Alternative featuring workshops, sessions and concerts devoted to the hammered dulcimer in its various forms. Hear North American Contra from Northern Confluence, Celtic Classics with Springtide, and World Fusion from Andrew Purdam & friends. Jackie Luke performs Greek music on Sandouri with special guest vocalist Theodora Volti to complete an afternoon of stellar acoustic music.
