Please join us for the launch of Analecta’s 25th print publication, titled Analecta 2018: Dis|connections.

Analecta is a yearly anthology of creative work written and edited by students at the University of Canberra. It accepts submissions from any current student in any field of study, and publishes the best of those submissions in a physical paperback you'll be able to pick up at the launch. Every piece within has been workshopped in conjunction with its author to achieve its fullest potential and to tease out the underlying themes of this year's publication.

Introducing Dis|connections will be guest speaker Justin Heazlewood (aka The Bedroom Philosopher). The Australian writer, musician and comedian is a UC alumnus who himself wrote for Analecta (back when it was called ‘First’) and he’s returning to the scene of the crime to share some insights with the next crop of up-and-coming UC writers.

A big 'thank you' to our sponsors, The University of Canberra Faculty of Arts & Design, UC Writers, Smith's Alternative and Recent Work Press for making this anthology possible.

Entry is free.
