Beloved Black Cypress member Rosie is still having a blast in the US. In the lead-up to some new single releases—and to remind everyone we’re still here—Black Cypress will be performing a set under the name Cypress (sadly, without Rosie). While it’s not quite the same without her, this stripped-back version reveals something different. Cypress remains a raw, rustic, and deeply honest exploration of love, mystery, and the wilderness. Expect guitar riffs and vocal harmonies grounded by percussion, all set to be pierced by jagged, weeping violin lines.

Sam on vocals and guitar, Nic on percussion, and Charlotte on violin and vocals, delve into sounds drawn from blues, Viking chants, folk traditions, and pirate shanties.
