Australia’s favourite rockabilly playboys, Christian Power & Lonesome Train, the Wollongong based trio, well known across the country and beyond, for their good time appeal with fans of all ages.

Christian Power & Lonesome Train play a fantastic mix of originals and classics, all cooked up to an infectious, high energy, rockabilly beat. They love to invite audiences members up on stage too, so if you have a talent and are happy to share...more fun for everyone!

The trio consists of lead man, Fender endorsee and funny guy, Christian Power on guitars, the inimitable Jordan C. Thomas on the upright slap bass, and bangin’ the skins, stand-up style is Rob Laurie. All three provide main and harmony vocals and terrible gags.

They can be seen playing at the countries major music and culture festivals. The boys were nominated last year for Australia’s most prestigious entertainment industry award, the MO Award, “We are absolutely thrilled and humbled to receive this nomination amongst so many amazing talents and household names, and to get this nod of approval from your peers and mentors in this way is the ultimate high five” says Power.

The band are also honoured to travel the world to bring all the fun to troops serving overseas in war zones and areas of conflict as they have for NATO and UN peacekeepers in Iraq, Afghanistan, Israel, United Arab Emirates, East Timor and Solomon Islands. “Apart from being really exciting when you fly into a war zone you have seen on TV and putting on all the combat gear, these tours fill all of the entertainers and comedians with such a huge sense of well being and national pride, and feels like in a small way, we are doing our bit for our country while leaving a positive effect on the people we meet. As an entertainer, the goodwill these tours create, feels like the most important aspect of my career.”
