Benedict Moleta returns to Smith's to launch his tenth album, entitled Walking Along in the Sun.

Benedict's first album was released twenty years ago and was all solo songs.

Since then his albums have included collaborations with lots of singers and musicians, but the new album goes back to basics - all solo, just Benedict singing and playing.

Familiar themes of mortality and friendship are in there, along with songs written since moving to Canberra from Perth in 2024, and some skateboarding history from the golden age of the early 1990s.

The show will be opened by solo sets from special guests Abi Main and Adriano Tedde.
