It's 1999. The school year is ending, the formal is finally here, and nothing is quite going to plan.

After a memorable day wagging school, six teenagers are back together for one of the biggest nights of their young lives.

There are outfits to organise, crushes to navigate, secrets to keep and friendships that might never be quite the same again.

As expectations collide with reality, Veronica, Kat, Brendon, Ash, Mick and Heath discover that growing up sometimes means learning how to say goodbye.

An improvised coming-of-age story filled with 90s nostalgia, awkward moments, big feelings and the unpredictability of being sixteen.

One night. Six teenagers. A lifetime of memories.

From VAN Productions, SICK DAY: The Formal continues the story that began with SICK DAY. No previous viewing required.
