Three-times Australian champion bush poet Gregory North will be presenting the "Life & Rhymes" of Banjo Paterson - an extended version of a show performed by Greg for ten years in Winton - the birthplace of Waltzing Matilda. The show features visuals, facts and poetry - a must for any Banjo Paterson fan.
As well as being Australia's most famous poet, Banjo was a newspaper correspondent at the Boer War in South Africa. During 1900-1901 he travelled Australia and New Zealand presenting lectures on the war - and made appearances in 56 places. Greg has recently re-enacted Banjo's tour on it's 125th anniversary and is now extending it to areas that Banjo missed.
