After 2025s sell out run along the east coast Sydneys Godfathers of Psychedelic Jangle Guitar Pop from the Eighties, the Crystal Set, are back with all your favourite old songs and some new ones from their forthcoming album. The bands new single Critical Mass has been getting plays around Australia. Backseat Mafia wrote “jingle jangle psych pop of the highest order: enigmatic, anthemic and very cool.“

The band features the 2 original songwriters Russell Kilbey and Phil Maher along with Paul Abrahams on bass (The Reels, Wendy Mathews), Murray Cook on Guitar and Keys (Midnight Oil, Mentals and Warumpi Band ) and powerhouse drummer Rudi Webber. Supported by the ever alluring Alannah Russack (The Hummingbirds), Sydney Bubble Grunge Punks Postcards from Pluto and Canberra expats, the Lyneham High graduates who formerd Inner Circle in Canberra in 1985 before migrating to Sydney’s more fertile soil, Bhagavad Guitars.
