2026 - what a year it’s been!

In a world of poll tumblings and budget fumblings, the rumbling of discontent is everywhere. Artificial intelligence is rising as are prices and emissions. Democracy is being rattled, battles are raging. Albo is timidly trying to look reasonable, while Angus is desperately trying to out-Pauline Pauline.

All is OK, though, because musical satirists, Shortis and Simpson, have been locked away for months amassing a whole new batch of songs that take a satirical look at the year we’ve almost survived. Yes, just when you thought all was lost, this hilarious cabaret duo will have you laughing and crying as they look at the foibles and follies of our political leaders.

It’s funny, poignant, informative, entertaining. Don’t miss Satire at Smith’s.
