MusicACT is delighted to present the latest from its Fueling Creativity professional development program, in partnership with the exciting new I Heart Songwriting online songwriting platform.  A songwriting future is essential to a thriving music industry and is a core MusicACT strategy designed to amplify the ACT music scene.  

With a goal of creating up to 200 new songs in ten weeks, 20 Canberra based songwriters committed to writing 10 songs each in the unique and mutually supportive I Heart online environment. To kick the program off MusicACT provided 20 I Heart scholarships and tonight participants will perform their favourite creative outcomes. It will be an exciting night that promises diverse performances by some of Canberra’s most interesting emerging and established songwriters.

There will be a Q & A panel session that sets out to explore the songwriting process and experience plus a music industry networking opportunity will follow.
