“Let’s keep the good vibes flowing!” This will be the third gig in the newly launched, highly successful, monthly series. Continuing with their free-flowing approach to jazz improvisation the trio will present a set of music designed to encourage a deep listening experience. During the break Nick and Ben will share selections from their vast jazz vinyl collection after which they will be joined by special guest drummer and electronic musician Chris Thwaite.

“Wait! What’s that?” I hear you say. “Two drummers?” A slight change in schedule means this month will be downstairs giving the group access to a larger stage creating this exciting opportunity.

Taking their lead from Norwegian trumpet legend Nills Peter Molvaer – often one to perform with two drummers – the second set will feature electronic infused grooves. These grooves will create cinematic soundscapes and ambient textures overlayed with haunting trumpet melodies.
