Continuing with a free-flowing approach to jazz improvisation the trio will present a set of music designed to encourage a deep listening experience. During the break Nick and Ben will share selections from their vast jazz vinyl collection after which they will be joined by special guest guitarist Lachlan Coventry.

A giant of the local jazz scene Lachlan has a harmonic sensibility highly complementary to the trio’s approach. The thoughtfulness of his playing will bring exciting new possibilities and create an evening not to be missed by lovers of jazz. It also marks the beginning of what is hoped will become a regular fixture of the Canberra jazz landscape.
