A Town Called Panic is a contemporary jazz trio whose focus is on creating fresh arrangements of modern songs and breathing new life into old favourites. Brendan Keller-Tuberg (bass), Ben Forte (guitar) and Hayden Fritzlaff (drums) draw on post-rock and hip-hop influences to formulate a new blend of jazz fusion. Influenced by Aphex Twin and Flying Lotus as much as by Ornette Coleman and Robert Glasper, A Town Called Panic are not to be missed.

The trio (all in their final years at the ANU School of Music) have been playing together in one form or another for two years. As 'Three Men One Chamber' they won the 2014 ANU Chamber Music Competition's People's Choice Award. They have performed for ArtSound FM, Goodbye Elisha Otis and the Governor General.
