Once again, Vanishing Shapes are descending upon Canberra to spread their fairy music merriment and good cheer on their miniature September weekend getaway. Two sets of music starting at 4:30pm.

Be swept away in an imaginative take on the folk idiom as they fuse old sounds of traditional folk music with modern influences, manipulating characteristics of electronic dance, progressive metal and classical to traverse from large cinematic soundscapes into twisted dance tunes. Energetic performances feature entirely acoustic instruments and are a little bit humorous whilst exploring playful, harrowing and ethereal sounds appealing to urges of dance, crying and escaping to other dimensions.
