Food/Drink

Smith’s doesn’t have a full kitchen, but we do provide a range of savouries (including toasted sandwiches, cheese and vegan platters) and sweets (such as brownies, slices, banana bread). All of our sweets are house made, most are vegan, and many are also gluten free. We’re often experimenting, so come in and check out if there’s something new to sample.

You are welcome to bring food in from elsewhere, but please be aware that most of the tables are removed from the venue when we have a full house. We also ask that you remove your own rubbish.

Art of Espresso coffee and T2 teas are served all day and night.

We have local and imported beers and ciders (no taps), and a full range of wines, many of them local (including Wallaroo, Pankhurst and Nick O’Leary).

We also stock a full range of spirits and liqueurs, including a variety of top shelf whiskeys and a dozen excellent gins. Our cocktail list contains some variations on old classics, and check out the Smith’s Specials, created in house, some inspired by and named after local bands.

Note: Smith’s does not have a grease trap, which limits what we can cook and how we can serve food. Because of this our food is served with compostable plates, cutlery and serviettes, all of which is collected and composted locally. The majority of our remaining waste is recyclable, with Smith’s weekly general waste often less than that of the average household.
