Join us for the March edition of Soundscapes, an evening that showcases some of Canberra’s finest musicians in the fields of experimental, electronic and improvised sound.

Our feature artists for March include:

Chloë J. Hobbs

Chloë is an experimental composer and free-improviser based in Canberra. She is interested in creating temporally fluid and texturally complex sound environments and utilises a wide range of sound sources including traditional instruments, found objects, toys, and electronic media. She is a member of the Experimental Music Studio, an ensemble that performs open works and free improvisation. They have performed at several venues and festivals in Canberra and surrounding areas.

Pensive Fish

Drawing on decades of live performances, Pensive Fish will take the audience on a journey through space and time. Blurring the lines between what is live and what is not, spontaneous improvisations from all three masters of their crafts combine into a sonic experience not to be missed!
