Magic Rob Universe

Drawing inspiration from the early 70's progressive rock scene with touch of psychedelia. Taking their musical influences from bands such as the Beatles, (psychedelic phase), Pink Floyd, David Bowie, Led Zeppelin, the Kinks, the Doors, Bob Dylan and Donovan.

Lead by Magic Rob Burgess, singer, songwriter from Canberra. In his song writing, Rob draws on his fascination with mythology, philosophy, comparative religion, science fiction and fantasy. Often described as a folk-rock band with a medieval twist and a space-rock vein. They tell fantasy stories of, interstellar travel, science-fiction and the Age of Aquarius upon classic rock sounds.

Upbeat classic rock sounds with a strong stage presence, these cosmic-leaning cape drawn folk-rockers will engage the audience into dance while transporting you to another dimension.

David Bath and the Hot Tubs

Lead by David Bath, songwriter from Canberra who released his first E.P tilted ‘Do What You Must’ in 2018 with the Hot Tubs. Taking inspiration from the 60’70’s Australian, British and American rock music periods. With influences ranging across the 90’s grunge, alt-country-rock and surf guitar-blues.

The music draws on social issues, personal reflection and wellbeing. Telling stories about how the cards fall and how we adapt as it unfolds. David is the bass player for Magic Rob Universe.

These songs and the latest mix will be performed by the smooth and steady rock’n Hot Tubs to warm everyone up. With some punchy, surf edged numbers at the right junctions.

The Blue Angel and Dr Wiedemann's Orchestra

The Blue Angel and Dr Wiedemann's Orchestra are the finest and only exponents of Brechtian and Weillian music styles. Their music has elements of German rockabilly mixed with cabaret and influences include klezmer, jazz, folk and blues. All this is combined with characters and songs that trace their lives as musicians and performers in Weimar Berlin. They continue to live in current times in a nether world state as spirits.

 Comical and philosophical, the Blue Angel and Dr Wiedemann's Orchestra are ethereal characters embedded in the bygone Weimar era.  "Arc back in time as the Blue Angel and Dr Wiedemann's orchestra bring you the musty era of Weimar on a battered silver tray."
