Leo Amadeus is a regular (in the frequent sense, not the common sense) little (in the whimsical sense, not the literal sense) comedian (in the musical sense...you get the idea) who is a grown up but not at all grown up and trying to do a slightly more grown up (in the serious sense) show compared to their festival-touring show Horse Brother. In stories about driving, getting older (while still being so young), Canberra adoration and gender expression, Leo ends up making a whole show of new songs - funny AND heartfelt - amidst their unimaginably busy schedule which definitely includes time for writing this show.

Described by many (some even qualified!) as the next Tim Minchin, Leo will be rocking up to this performance with long hair and some eyeliner, although for very, VERY different reasons to why Tim Minchin does it. Leo has also been described as "Tim Minchin, but less annoying." Do with that what you will.

As someone who won a grant to compose a musical next year, working full-time as a musician and fully committed to the bit, Leo is definitely someone you want to catch at this festival.
