CoCanberra is a group of SEE-Change in Canberra, and is the Canberra Regional Hub of NENA, the New Economy Network of Australia.

Our work moves the Canberra region towards providing for its own needs through a linked network of community owned and controlled co-operatives.

This month, join us for our September Meetup on Sunday 27th! We will show a short film from John D. Liu, then have a chat about it.

John has been documenting large scale ecosystem restoration projects around the world for decades, and has helped found a project to begin “Ecosystem Restoration Camps” around the world. Fascinating and very hopeful stuff.

In October we have Katherine Trebeck, cofounder of wellbeing economy alliance and all-round legend! If you have any suggestions for future guests we would love to hear them.

Our meetups are not boring organising meetings, instead we have a talk or panel followed by QnA, or perhaps some other random event! Everyone is welcome to join us.

Whether you want to find out more, make connections, talk theory, find the others, or get stuck into actually building the environmental and social solutions we so desperately need, the monthly NENA / CoCanberra meetups are for you!

We meet at midday on the 4th Sunday of every month at Smiths Alternative - 76 Alinga Street, Canberra City - go upstairs then turn left. This is a licensed venue, so if you are underage, you need to bring along a legal guardian.

We set up a zoom link for most meetups, so people can attend either in person or online.

We are looking at reviving the Pre Power renewables funding co-op and revitalising the Soil City Co-op Farms project, so reach out if you are interested!
