If you are interested in cooperatives, worker owned self-directed enterprises, commons, community based infrastructure and organisations, then look no further than Co-Canberra.

We are working to build a new and just economy. Renewable energy, regenerative food production, affordable housing, social service provision, anything you can think of can be done in a cooperative way, become a source of income, and be owned and directed by people just like you!

Whether you want to find out more, make connections, talk theory, find the others, or get stuck into actually building the environmental and social solutions we so desperately need, the monthly NENA / CoCanberra meetups are for you!

The meetups are not boring organising meetings, instead we have a talk or panel followed by QnA, or perhaps some other random event! We begin at 12 noon, and finish by 2pm. Everyone is welcome to join us.

We meet  at midday on the last Sunday of every month at Smith’s Alternative. This is a licensed venue, so if you are underage, you need to be accompanied by your parent or legal guardian.

We set up a zoom link for most meetups, so people can attend either in person or online.

We are looking at reviving the Pre Power renewables funding co-op and revitalising the Soil City Co-op Farms project, and helping out with a budding trades coop in the ACT and surrounds – so reach out if you are interested!
