Finding the sweet spot between soul, jazz, and rock, Ava Martina's live shows showcase a unique blend of vocal harmonies, hip-hop beats, and brain-tingling chords. She is often joined on stage by the Martini's, a collective of musicians and friends who bring her compositions to life.

Over the past two years, Ava has dedicated herself to honing her craft, developing her producing and songwriting skills, and reinventing her music with a fresh, new sound that departs from the indie-folk influences featured on her debut EP, Peculiar Minds.'

Her critically acclaimed EP, 'Peculiar Minds,' was released in September 2021 and was recorded with producer Harry Barwell, also known as Aloe Vera, from Sydney's Northern Beaches. BMA magazine described 'Peculiar Minds' as "dreamily consistent, perched and pitched at a euphonious, semi-sanguine emotional level without ever straying."

In 2022, Ava completed her Bachelor of Music at the ANU School of Music, majoring in jazz performance and music technology. During her studies, she made a significant mark on the live music scene in Canberra, performing at her first two festivals: The National Folk Festival in April and Canberra Beer Fest in September. Over the past two years, Ava has graced the stage to open for acts such as ‘Bones and Jones’, 'Jet City Sports Club', ‘Lotte Gallagher’ & local powerhouses 'Kirkland' and ‘Little Quirks.'

Canberra based singer/songwriter, Flik, combines featherlight fingerpicking with lucid and comforting vocals in a washed-out project that is brimming with vulnerability.
