Zackerbilks is a Canberra-based, high energy, traditional dixie jazz band. The eight-piece plays a mix of instrumental and vocal music, heavily influenced by the music of Acker Bilk. With Miriam Miley-Reid chief vocalist, a horn section led by trumpeter Zach Raffin, Robbie Mann on stride piano and Mark Levers and Scott Temby on rhythm duties, Zackerbilks are gold standard guaranteed to induce a Gatsbyesque sense of wanton abandon and possibly a stock market crash or two.
