WAXBANGS!! TWO GREAT WORLDS OF SONG AT SMITH’S!!

Wax Lyrical is Australian Songwriters Association’s (ASA) monthly get together for accomplished, budding and developing songwriters. In Canberra it’s at Smith’s, the first Saturday of the month. It’s a song circle, where original songwriters and lyricists perform up to 3 of their original works, unplugged, no amps, no mics, and songs can be any genre. No need to book, just turn up with your instrument of choice. You don’t have to be a member of ASA to share your works at WAX, AND loving listeners are just as welcome too! ASA is a national, non-profit, member organisation, dedicated to the support of Australian songwriters and their art. It provides encouragement, development, recognition and promotion. It also runs annual songwriting competitions and award nights. WAX in Canberra is hosted by 2024 National ASA Regional Coordinator of the Year, ian paulin. Everyone’s welcome!!
