Australian Songwriters Association (ASA) Wax Lyrical presents another feature concert.
“Who’s Next”. A celebration of Canberra and surrounds original Young Songwriters. You’ll be blown away by the talent! This will be a fun and lively event!
Jessie Cole – quirky but fun celebrations in song of things we sometimes overlook or take for granted. Great singer and apparently a good trumpet player.
Jane Jouralev – intriguing musical journeys with great stories wrapped around them, that leave you thinking … ‘yeah, I know that one.”
Zoe and Sophia Santagostino Baldi – their second appearance for ASA, having turned in a stellar performance at the Hecate Daughter's, all women’s’ songwriter feature concert in February. It’s a duo with a great gift of song and wonderful vocals.
Leo Armadeus – returning after a cracking show ‘Horse Brother’ over Easter and having performed some great shows at the Melbourne Comedy Festival. This is a very fine writer and performer; funny, thought provoking and lovely surprises.
Little Riverina Band – all the way from Cootamundra, don’t let their ages fool ya. This is an energetic, fun, tight, and boisterous vibe. And there’s tons of experience, having a couple of years of Tamworth Festival gigs under their belts. Their songs are lively and beautifully crafted.
Compered by Liz Caddy, a very cool songwriter, performer, and theatre artist.
ASA is a national not-for-profit organization that fosters new and long-time song-makers. Canberra ASA runs a Song Circle, Feature Concerts and Songwriter Road Trip. It's a great ACT Community.
