Straddling the musical worlds of folk, jazz and blues, Lisa Richards’s work is as diverse as it is personal. The only thing that stays consistent is Richard’s fiercely unique voice. Shaped by her childhood in Townsville North Queensland, as well as long stints in New York City and Austin Texas, this Independent artist, has released and toured 6 albums internationally. Her critically acclaimed 6th CD, "A Light From The Other Side" was recorded and produced in Australia by Canberra born Greg J Walker ( Paul Kelly, Tiny Ruins, CW Stoneking).  She now lives in our nation's capital.
