The Mimosa Duo are back in our country's capital and brimming with music! Phoebe and Morgan have been busy since you last saw them, they have been performing on cruise ships, organising tours, playing gigs, they are always practicing and learning new repertoire, plus, they have learnt how to make their own chocolate and kimchi... Sensational!

Mimosa play a wide range of music. Having been classically trained at the Sydney Con, yet Gypsy Jazz trained in the streets of Paris, they posses a unique ability to modify songs in their own special way to suit their pedantic needs! They are much like the finest of modern day craft beers, flavour a plenty, hidden touches of mysterious tang, and after hearing a set or two one feels giddy and is possessed with the belief that they can achieve anything!

Its always a fun night out with the Mimosa Duo so whether you have seen them live before or not, come on down for a taste of their delectable, salty yet sweet smorgasbord of tunes.

Supporting Mimosa Duo is The Gypsy Jazz Project (GJP), a Canberra-based quartet playing 1930s Parisian “hot club” jazz in the style of Django Reinhardt. Featuring Bruce Rose and Sverre Molland on guitars, Anthony Irving on double bass and Steve Rouch on clarinet and vocals, the GJP plays hot string swing jazz that will bring a smile to your dial and get your hands clapping while your feet tapping. The band plays regularly at jazz venues in Canberra and neighbouring regions, as well as festivals, private functions, weddings, vineyards and cocktail parties.
