That Poetry Thing continues to bring international class poets to Monday nights. Tonight is no different with former Australian Poetry Slam Winner, and founder of the Pakistan Poetry Slam, Zohab Zee Khan.

Zohab is an educator, spoken word poet, motivational speaker, didgeridoo player, musician and hip-hop artist. Since 2006, Zohab has been building a formidable career in spoken word poetry, culminating in taking out the title of the Australian Poetry Slam Champion in 2014. In 2014 he was also a finalist in the International Poetry Slam in Madrid.

Zohab’s words have taken him to stages across Western Europe, South East Asia, China, Pakistan, and the Middle East. As an educator, Zohab’s poetry and self development workshops are in high demand and he has conducted over a thousand workshops in institutions worldwide. His workshops aim to inspire change and confidence in young people through spoken word poetry and brain hacks. With the incorporation of self-development techniques, spoken-word poetry becomes not just a platform for self-expression but also one to inspire change and increase productivity.

Join Zohab and host J C Inman for an interview that discusses Zohab's approach to poetry, rap, and the craft of writing, and see the performance that has made Z.Z.K a hit across Australia, NZ, Pakistan, western Europe, China and more.

The night begins with an open mic
10 on the door.
