For ANZAC Day 2021, in association with University of Canberra arts faculty staff, creative writing alumni from the ADF ARRTS Program (Arts for Recovery, Resilience, Teamwork and Skills) will read poetry and other writing.

Then to end the night - and the Poetic City Festival - we will enjoy the poetic lyrics and music of GWEN.

GWEN takes the poems of renowned Australian poet Gwen Harwood and puts them to original music, bringing a new dimension to her iconic poetry. This 5-piece folk outfit started as a passion project between friends, and they have established a following in Canberra among poetry and music enthusiasts alike. Their delicately arranged and emotionally-charged folk songs have a uniquely Australian flavour. GWEN aims to bring Harwood's poetry to a wider and more diverse audience across the country.

Please do not attend if you are unwell, have been in close contact with a known active case of COVID-19, or have been to a COVID affected area or travelled overseas in the previous 14 days.
