Canberra based modern jazz/fusion septet Tembtanglement (formerly Conjunto Restante) bring style, spontaneity and sass to the original compositions and arrangements of Scott Temby. A fixture at jazz festivals across NSW and VIC, they weave three horn parts over smooth grooves, combining (sometimes literally) musical language ranging from bebop to Bieber, blues to Beyoncé, Big Band and Bossa Nova (and that's just the "B"s). With vocalist Lucy Ridge stepping in on several numbers, they aim to entertain you, pay tribute to jazz greats, and convince you some pop music is actually pretty alright.
