Soundscapes is a monthly music night showcasing acts somewhere in the alternative / experimental / sound art / other / uncategorised zones. Our featured acts for September:
HANNAH DE FEYTER
is a Canberra-based experimental/noise viola player, with releases through Cinnamon Records and Early Music. She will perform a live score to Salomé, a 1923 silent film directed by Charles Bryant and starring Alla Nazimova. It is an adaptation of the Oscar Wilde play of the same name.

SEBASTIAN FIELD
is making the rounds to remind people he’s still alive before entering the launch cycle for his newly recorded ArtsACT-funded debut solo album, due out later in time (how vague). Sebastian plays avant - garde, delicate and ethereal music, consisting largely of vocal and guitar loops.
