Fully woken from our lockdown slumbers, Smith's continues with our schtick of presenting the best local musical culture Canberra has to offer. Sadly a neighbour complained about our outdoor music plans, but then La Nina intervened anyway and music and water ain't a good mix. Thus we present: Smith's Summer Series - ten weekend afternoon indoors gigs featuring ten of our favourite bands, culminating in a 26th January Public Holiday Spectacular! Let the warmer (and wetter?) weather, sensational music and sensible adoption of covid restriction relaxation opportunities continue.

Chilean-born, Victor Martinez Parada is recognised as one of the world’s finest classical Latin-American avant-garde solo guitarists. Classically trained, over the course of his career he has developed an innovative style which generates a world of sound by interpreting music from the classics, folk, jazz and pop using multiple techniques.
