These informal events hosted by Canberra Youth Theatre are a showcase for raw, rough, risk-taking works-in-progress. Audiences are then invited to participate in a guided critical response process to offer feedback and insights into the artists’ work.

Even in the earliest stages of a project, there's no better way to bring it to life than trying it out on-stage. All you need is 5-10 minutes of material, be it a reading of a scene, a short performance, a song, a sketch, a poem, or whatever it is you've got to show. See how it goes in front of a friendly crowd, get some feedback, and take it forward!

Scratch is for performers, writers and theatre-makers who are itching to share ambitious ideas, make new connections, and take their creative projects to the next stage.

Put your name down to show us what you've got at canberrayouththeatre.com.au/scratch.
