Come and dare Impro ACT’s leaders to improvise anything you thought they might not be able to do. They’ll accept any challenge, or perhaps you’d even prefer to try your hand at improvising something with them.
The Nix tend to get so busy teaching other improvisers and directing or hosting shows for them, that their students often ask, “When do we get to see if you practice what you preach”? Well, they say it much more nicely, but here’s the chance to test that question in a live theatre treat which defies description since The don’t know what they’ll be challenged to do either.
You can, at least, to rely on a few laughs, a lot of inspiration, no doubt a little musical improv, too.
This late notice show comes in advance of the next Impro ACT class term, so if you’re even slightly improv curious, come and see the show, and it might help you decide whether or not to try it, yourself. It’s also in advance of Nick Byrne’s next improv tour to Europe, Africa, and Asia, so whilst he’s lucky enough to be invited to perform all over the world, he could do a warm-up show, for you, especially when it means he gets to perform with his closest colleague and great friend, Nick Fraser.
Fun times with Nix.
