Beyond Uncertainty, there’s always a new beginning.
New Beginnings is a 12-part community radio documentary to be aired on 2XXFM (98.3) that explores the personal stories of asylum seekers, refugees, and migrants in Canberra and Australia more broadly. New Beginnings follows a series of historical threads to understand Australia's current political climate and promote the importance of English language programs and community events. The series aims to foster an understanding of the journey that is migration, and promote acceptance, love and new beginnings.
The launch will feature excerpts from the series, music from Annie & Paul Posterino (Melbourne) and live poetry readings in Serbian with local food and wine provided. Entry is free.
