Suckers for Russian lit, the Don Cossacks have agreed to score a production of War and Peace for their next show. But not tonight. Tonight, it's Mick Daley's dirt track dirges, with Adam Bell of the King Hits on guitar and Kate Hosking on double bass.

Local (but seldom seen) faves, Jason Recliner, will open with a set of songs full of wry observations on life as a human being in Canberra and West Wyalong. With sketchy metaphors about climate change and the Dewey Decimal System, and a complete lack of self consciousness regarding musical accomplishment, Jason Recliner are the perfect antidote for the disaffected public servant on the verge of nihilistic self-annihilation.
